Some Occupation definitions:

Annuitant – someone living on an annuity or pension

A Pauper is a recipient of relief under the provisions of the Poor Law or of public charity.

Cordwainer – a shoemaker making new shoes as opposed to a cobbler who repairs old shoes. It is interesting how manu shoemakers and cordwainers there were in Dallowgill at this time.

Charwoman – possibly from chore woman ie a woman servant who did general chores.
